Eric Gilboord Founder and CEO

Eric is a specialist in making marketing easy for business owner/operators and any staff with sales or marketing responsibility. He demystifies marketing so they can use it to generate sales today and grow their businesses faster.

He worked as a marketing executive for 18 years in Canadian and International advertising agencies as well as specialty shops, with experience in all aspects of marketing. He held senior account management positions overseeing the advertising for many diverse clients including A&P, Dominion Stores, CBS Records, Ontario Lottery Corporation, Ontario Milk Marketing Board, Yamaha Dealers, WD40, Budget Rent A Car, Lechmere, Sunbeam, Oster, Ford, Converse, Swiss Chalet and many more.

During this phase in his career he grew a direct marketing agency from 4 people and $200,000 in annual sales to 27 staff and $2,000,000 in annual sales. All in an 18 month period. Some say he was the linchpin to their success.

Specialties include being tuned into the unique mind of Small and Medium-sized Business Owners/Operators.
Eric can connect with them for their own benefit and to help large organizations reach this valuable SMB audience.

For the past 19 years he has worked as a marketing coach and supplier, providing strategy, creative development and full marketing program implementation to over 300 Small & Medium-sized Businesses. His work history and business philosophy includes utilizing a blend of traditional and new media for clients of all sizes. Eric has worked with a diverse group of organizations.

He is well known in the SMB community as a popular speaker, columnist and author of many articles and books on moving a Small or Medium-sized Business up to the next level. Eric is the author of "Just Tell Me What to Do - Easy Marketing Tips" - a best selling book on marketing your business and a co-author of "Marketing Masters" - a collection of insights from leading marketing experts.

Rick Duncan VP Marketing & Director Client Services

Rick is a senior marketing communications strategist with broad-based hands-on experience in:
  • Launching and repositioning brands.
  • Designing, implementing and managing creative strategies.
  • Managing strategic organizational and communication requirements.
  • Developing differentiated customer experience projects.

His focus is on taking the business issues a company faces, and then re-positioning, refocusing, or revising the brand strategy to drive sales and market share. With over 23 years experience launching, managing and fixing brands in a wide selection of categories, both in ad agencies and as a Client, his understanding of customer behaviour and motivation helps move a brand to a position of greater relevance in the hearts and minds of the target customer. From there, he crafts compelling marketing and communications strategies to deliver measurable business building programs.

Tibor Shanto VP Sales Services & Business Development

Tibor is a 20-year veteran of B2B sales in information, content management, and financial sectors.
He has developed an insider’s perspective on how information can be used to:
  • Shorten sales cycles.
  • Increase close ratios.
  • Create double digit growth.
Called a brilliant sales tactician, Tibor shows organizations how to execute their strategy by using the right information to create a perfect combination of tactics and timing.

Tibor spent 10 years with Dow Jones; after launching their Canadian business and building a solid team and revenue base, with double digit CAGR, Tibor was appointed Sales Director for Canada and The Central USA. As Director of Sales Strategy, Tibor developed a very forward thinking global Sales Training program and was instrumental in building their Client Solutions organization.
Tibor achieved multiple performance awards across positions from Account Executive to AVP. In addition he also has served as Strategic Sales Director, Director of Sales Operations, Director of Knowledge Transfer/Training, Associate Vice President -- all with the mandate to increase revenues, maximize efficiencies, and reduce costs.

Tibor is a recognized speaker, author, and sought after sales trainer. He is the coauthor of 'Shift!: Harness The Trigger Events That Turn Prospects Into Customers'. His article "How to shorten your Sales Cycle?" was voted number one by readers of Top Ten Sales Articles. Tibor is a Director of and a contributor to Sales Bloggers Union, and his work has appeared in numerous publications and leading sales websites.

Margaret Miller Director Coaching & Assessments

From her director level positions in Finance, Administration and Human Resources, Margaret has gained a broad range of experience.

Building on her personal work experience, she has completed over 350 hours of accredited training with a number of coaching schools including the Coaches Training Institute, The Coaching Group, the Adler School of Professional Coaching, the Graduate School of Coaching and the Graduate School of Corporate Coaching. 

Margaret currently holds two coaching accreditations. She is a Certified Executive Coach through the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches and a Certified RESULTS Coach through The Coaching Group. She also holds two training certificates with Langevin Learning Services.
Margaret currently serves on the ethics committee with Worldwide Association of Business Coaches and the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers. She served on numerous other boards including a 3-year term with the International Coach Federation, Toronto chapter board, a 2-year term with Adler International Learning Inc., and a 3-year term with her local Chamber of Commerce.

Her insightful and supportive working style, combined with a wry sense of humour, consistently earns her high praise from clients: “She really listens with her eyes, ears, brain and heart……she reads and understands people quickly……is organized, very centered and cares about what she does…and brings an unbelievably vast wealth of progressive experience to the table.”

He works closely with highly engineered, Canadian manufacturing companies that have great ideas, strong products and the desire to accelerate growth in domestic, US and/or international markets. He believes in developing separate growth strategies for North America and International markets, as each brings unique challenges and opportunities.
